Late April to early June

Changdao is closed to the sea, but it does not affect tourists eating seafood at fishermen's houses. You can also have the opportunity to see wild spotted seals when visiting Changdao at this time.

Mid-July to the end of August.

This is the best time for swimming. During the summer vacation, there are the most guests on the island. It is best to book a fisherman's room in advance before you come.

Mid-September to mid-October

This is the island's most beautiful season, with clear skies and crisp air that bring a refreshing feeling. This season is ideal for sightseeing, sea fishing, and enjoying seafood. After November

Changdao's ocean cruises are completely suspended. The biggest attraction of Changdao in winter is the waves. Crescent Bay

Located at the northernmost tip of Beichangshan Island, it is the highlight of Changdao's attractions. It is not a sandy beach, but is made up of countless boulders. Such a beach is unique in China.

Jiuzhangya

Jiuzhang Cliff is close to Crescent Bay. The cliffs there are famous for their steepness and danger. It has a different charm from Crescent Bay and is also a good place to watch the sunset and sunrise.

Linhaifengshan National Forest Park

Named for its vast ocean and dense forests, it is the freshest, most tranquil, and most mysterious place in the entire county. Built on the mountainside and by the sea, it is known as "a concentrated fairyland, an expanded bonsai." Famous for its location at the confluence of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea, it is also known as a "natural oxygen bar" for its high negative oxygen ion content.

Miaodao Mazu Cultural Park

The earliest Mazu temple in northern China. The spirit of bravery, caring, saving people and overcoming suffering that Mazu promotes has been passed down from generation to generation on the island. Changdao holds the Mazu Cultural Festival and Mazu Birthday Celebration every year.

Tuoji Island

Ferry Ticket Price: 55 yuan per person from Penglai to Tuoji Island, 40 yuan per person from Changdao to Tuoji Island. Sailing Time: 2 hours and 20 minutes from Penglai to Tuoji Island, 1 hour and 20 minutes from Changdao to Tuoji Island.
