Introducing Gongpoyan
Located in Huangnikan Village, Zhiying Town, Yongkang City, Gongpo Rock, also known as Shiweng Mountain, is a peak resembling a tall old man wearing a veil. To the east of Shiweng lies another peak, shaped like an old woman with a bun, said to be Shiweng's wife. The Taiping Yulan (Taiping Yulan) states: "There is a solitary rock on the mountain, resembling a seated figure; next to it is a rock resembling a bride wearing flowered shoes, hence the name Xinbi Rock." Gongyan rises several dozen feet, with its head held high and chest puffed out, a majestic presence. Poyan is gentle and virtuous, like a little bird in its embrace.
Gongpo Rock, Wufeng, and Shiguliao, located not far from Yongkang city, are typical Danxia landforms. Although the mountains are not particularly high, only about 400-500 meters, they are dotted with ravines and cliffs, creating a picturesque and steep landscape with pristine vegetation. Gongpoyan, Fangyan Five Peaks, and Shiguliao are three scenic spots in Yongkang City, Jinhua. Fangyan and Shiguliao are paid attractions.
