Liuxi River National Forest Park, located northeast of Conghua, a suburb of Guangzhou, is one of the first ten forest parks built in my country. Its subtropical forests are known as a green pearl nestled on the Tropic of Cancer. Liuxi Lake is also known as Guangzhou's Mother River.
In the southeastern part of the park, there are towering peaks such as Wuzhi Mountain and Jizhen Mountain, which are undulating and overlapping, with a momentum of "distant mountains flickering" and "flat lakes emerging from high gorges".
There are 10 recreational projects in the park, including water entertainment, fun with monkeys, paintball field battles, ethnic customs garden, peacock garden, and deer viewing garden. There are 12 cultural landscapes such as Liuxi Xiangxue, Liuxi Rainbow, and Rare Plant Garden, and 13 natural landscapes such as Sanyatang Valley, Xiaoli River, and Emerald Islands.
Liuxi River National Forest Park is located in the subtropics. It is evergreen and picturesque all year round: in spring, flowers bloom in profusion and the mountains are covered with splendid scenery; in summer, there is abundant rainfall, and the mountains look like "silver streams and jade beads"; in autumn, the golden wind brings coolness and the maple leaves are as red as fire; in winter, the plum forest is fragrant, and it is known as "Liuxi Fragrant Snow".
