Luming Lake, formerly known as "No. 3 Paozi," is a volcanic barrier lake. Located 90 kilometers from the city of Arxan, it is west of the Xing'an Forest Farm and within the Luming Lake Park of Arxan National Forest Park.
The lake is broad and calm, covering an area of 157 hectares. It is horseshoe-shaped, surrounded by mountains on three sides. The lake's outlet is located to the south. The water from the outlet merges with that from Dujuan Lake and flows westward into the Halaha River. The lake area is lush with grass and is often visited by herds of deer. The deer's cries have earned it the name "Luming Lake."
