Introducing Dayang Mountain

Jiangsu Dayangshan National Forest Park is located in the west of the ancient city of Suzhou, bordering the vast blue Taihu Lake to the west. The park covers a total area of 1,029.8 hectares and has a forest coverage rate of 88.64%. It is an urban forest theme resort in western Suzhou.

Dayang Mountain stretches for over 20 miles and was hailed by the ancients as the "Guardian Mountain of Wu." Its main peak, Jianque Peak, reaches 338.2 meters, making it the second highest peak in Suzhou. The rolling green hills serve as a natural barrier, protecting the former capital of the Wu Kingdom. Ming Dynasty poets Wu Kuan and Wang Xideng, as well as the renowned bibliophile Gu Yuanqing, all called Dayang Mountain the "Guardian Mountain of Wu."

The Wenshu Temple Scenic Area is the eastern scenic area of Dayangshan Forest Park. It was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and has a history of thousands of years. It is the oldest temple in the Dayangshan area of Suzhou. It is built against the rock and has an exquisite design. In ancient times, it was also known as the "Hanging Temple". Here you can stroll along the ancient Ming Dynasty road, climb up to the half-mountain pavilion to enjoy the beautiful scenery, or go to the Wenshu Hall to pray sincerely and experience the profound Buddhist culture here.

The botanical garden scenic area is the western scenic area of Dayangshan Forest Park. It is the largest professional botanical garden in Suzhou with extremely high ornamental value.
