Wutongqiao District, part of Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is located in southwestern Sichuan Province. Wutongqiao Scenic Area is a distinctive ancient water town. Qing Dynasty poet Li Siyuan praised it, "The fireworks of thousands of families are bustling about, and the scenery is comparable to West Lake," hence its nickname, "Little West Lake." Wutongqiao blends mountains, water, trees, and town into one, with abundant water and numerous bridges. Bridges of various styles connect the three landmasses within the town, allowing visitors to enjoy the town's scenery by boating on the river and passing under the bridges. Wutongqiao is also one of China's seven "swimming towns," and the Mangxi River serves as a natural swimming training ground, nurturing many outstanding swimmers over the years.

Yang Ancestral Hall
The Yang Ancestral Hall is located among residential buildings approximately 500 meters west of the Minjiang River in Guanying Town. Construction began in the 12th year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign during the Qing Dynasty, commemorating the success of Yang Shiren in the imperial examination. Facing northwest and southeast, the hall faces the Leshan Giant Buddha across the river, enjoying excellent feng shui. Legend has it that this was the place where Liu Benzon, the sixth patriarch of Chinese Esoteric Buddhism, practiced.
Taoist Temple
The Taoist Temple in Laolongba, Qiaogou Town, Wutongqiao, and the Randeng Temple in Xiba Town are places with superb scenery. Standing on Laolong Mountain and looking into the distance, you can see the mighty Minjiang River and the quiet Moxi River converging here. From this entrance, the wide river surface is gathered in a canyon less than 1/10 of the size, like entering a bottomless cloth bag. Huge water flows intertwine together, rushing towards Laolongtou, and then being retracted by the dragon head, forming huge whirlpools.
Ding Youjun Martyrs Memorial Hall
The Ding Youjun Martyrs Memorial Hall is located on Bodhi Mountain in Wutongqiao District, Leshan. The memorial plaque bearing the hall's name was inscribed by Hu Yaobang, and inscriptions by Zhu De and other Party and state leaders are also displayed. Surrounded by lush greenery, the memorial offers a refreshing and beautiful view, and offers a bird's-eye view of the entire city.
