Introducing Lenggacuo

Lenggacuo is located in the back mountain of Bangmujide Village in Yulongxi Village. The photos taken here, which I had seen on the Chinese National Geographic website about Gongga, brought me waves of visual impact.

Many people will be shocked by the photo of the front of Mount Gongga, and many people will think that it was taken at the small pool under Zimei Pass. In fact, this photo was taken at a lake on the mountain behind Yulongxi Village in Bangmujid Township, called "Lengkacuo", which is also called "Baimacuo" by the locals.

Few people know that the "August Peak" pass at an altitude of about 4,600 meters is the best place to take close-up photos of the front of Gongga Sacred Mountain, including the "Eight Fairy Peaks, Sunshine Golden Mountain, Evening Glow Sacred Mountain, and the reflection of Gongga Sacred Mountain."

Climate and best time to travel

The plateau mountain climate has an alternating dry and rainy season from May to June each year, because the temperature is good and the rainfall is small at this time.
