The former residence of martyr Deng Enming is located at No. 21 , Xiangyang Road, north of Libo County, Qiannan Autonomous Prefecture . The residence is a simple tiled house with three rooms in a row, built on a wooden structure. It faces east and faces west, facing the street. Across from the gate, just over 10 meters to the left, stands a 200 -year-old banyan tree. Its lush, evergreen branches and leaves, intertwined and vibrant, its crown resembling an umbrella.
Deng Enming, whose given name was Enming and courtesy name was Zhongyao, was born in Libo, Guizhou in 1901. He was a member of the Shui ethnic group. He was the youngest among the 13 representatives of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the only representative of an ethnic minority (the Shui ethnic group).
