Hongshan Grand Canyon, also known as Anjihai Grand Canyon, is located on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain west of Anjihai Town, Shawan County, and originates from the Tianshan Mountains.
The magnificent Tianshan Hongshan Grand Canyon, after billions of years of roaring rivers, being washed by rain, and eroded by wind and snow, has created a breathtaking and majestic natural landscape with cliffs on both sides, creating an amazing spectacle of water erosion.
Some say, "God didn't take Van Gogh away; he left him in Xinjiang—in a section of the Anjihai Grand Canyon!" China National Geographic magazine called it "a river and canyon that flows from a modernist abstract painting."
Wusu has a typical continental climate, with windy spring and summer, and hot and dry summer.
