Hotel for Poe Festival Weekend

Coming to Baltimore for the Poe Festival ... will be here Fri-Sun and hope to explore more things the city has to offer but still hope to keep a smaller radius...the sponsored hotel is the Lord Baltimore but don't know if that's good to stay at for exploring overall...open to 10-15 minute walks to get to places. Thanks for any info.
