We have stayed at Harrah’s many times. From the website it appears they have renovated those rooms since our last stay two years ago. And Caesars has just opened the new hotel. Have any of you stayed at either since the renovation and opening?
We prefer the quarter typically as we like the accessibility to our daily walkable haunts. Unfortunately, our favorite hotel was not acceptable last year and we will not stay there again until something changes. The Monteleone is another old favorite we are also considering.
Hi,
The Caesars renovation and the new hotel addition in New Orleans have definitely generated a lot of buzz. If you’ve stayed at Harrah’s before, you’ll likely notice a fresh vibe with the recent updates to their rooms. The renovations have made the rooms more modern, with sleek designs, updated furniture, and improved amenities, making it a much more luxurious stay. Some guests have reported that the updated rooms offer better comfort and higher-quality finishes compared to the older ones.
As for the new Caesars hotel, it is located right next to Harrah’s, offering a more upscale and refined experience. The hotel features spacious rooms, high-end dining options, and a beautiful casino floor. The interior design has been well-received, with a more contemporary and sophisticated look compared to Harrah’s more classic style. For those who prefer staying close to the action, Caesars is well-positioned to explore the French Quarter, as it’s just a short walk away. Reviews so far have been positive, with a focus on the convenience and overall atmosphere.
If you're considering the French Quarter, the Monteleone is a fantastic alternative, especially if you like historic charm. The hotel has a lot of character, from its classic carousel bar to its elegant rooms. It’s a favorite for many due to its proximity to Bourbon Street and other key attractions, but it also has a more intimate and historic feel than some of the newer, larger hotels.
Here are a few options for you to consider:
If you’re specifically after a hotel with a traditional New Orleans atmosphere, The Monteleone remains a classic choice, though if you want a fresh, new experience with all the modern amenities, Caesars is definitely worth checking out.
