Hotel in Boston

Is staying in a hotel near Boston Harbor the best “in” place to stay? If not, where? I was looking at Intercontinental, the Harborside Hotel (room with a window) or the Dagny Boston which isn’t really in the harbor. So confusing on where to stay! Your help is so appreciated!

If you’re drawn to the vibrant energy of the city with easy access to restaurants, shops, and cultural activities, there are several neighborhoods to consider that offer great accommodations and are not necessarily in the harbor area.

• InterContinental Boston
- This hotel is located right on the waterfront and offers stunning views of the harbor. It's also close to major attractions like the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, making it a great option for a classic waterfront experience.
• Harborside Hotel - Also located along the waterfront, this hotel provides a relaxed, nautical atmosphere and offers good access to both the harbor and the Seaport District, which has developed into a trendy area with lots of restaurants and entertainment.
• The Dagny Boston - Although not located directly by the harbor, it’s in the Seaport District and offers a more modern, urban vibe. This area has lots of dining and nightlife options and is still relatively close to the waterfront, but it’s less "touristy" compared to the harbor area.
