Staying at ARIA - Use AVIS or Enterprise in another hotel?

Hi - looking to rent a car early morning to drive to GC South and return the next day, staying at ARIA. The easiest option is AVIS at Aria but the car selection is a bit limited, whereas looking at Enterprise (Closest one is Paris) there is way more choice.

Would you settle for a Toyota Camry that's easier to collect at ARIA or make the stretch to Paris to get a BMW / Pickup / possible muscle car? UK based so using the UK version of their sites!

Looking to pickup at 7:30am so we have time to visit the Vegas sign, hit Seligman for lunch and make it to Tusayan for 3pm ish to check-in and get a few hours of GC in and catch the sunset - going late May.

If you're looking for convenience and a smooth, easy start to your trip, renting from Avis at ARIA is definitely the simpler choice. It's located right at your hotel, so you'll avoid any extra hassle with transportation to another location. However, as you've noted, their car selection may be more limited, and if you have a specific preference for a particular vehicle, this might not be ideal.

On the other hand, Enterprise at Paris is a bit farther away, but it does offer a wider range of vehicles, including options like a BMW, a pickup, or even a muscle car. If you're leaning toward a more exciting ride and are willing to take the extra time for the short Uber or walk over to Paris, this could be a great option. But keep in mind that by picking up your car at 7:30am, you'll need to allow time to get to the Paris location, which might impact your schedule for visiting the Vegas sign and making it to Tusayan in time.

As far as timing goes, since you're aiming to hit Seligman for lunch and make it to Tusayan by around 3pm, both options should work if you stay on schedule. However, the extra 15-20 minutes it might take to get to the Enterprise location could push you to be a bit more rushed in the morning. That said, if having a more desirable car is a key factor for you, then the slightly longer drive to Enterprise could be worth it. But if you prefer a stress-free, quicker pick-up, Avis is the easier option, especially with your early start time.

  • Renting from Avis at ARIA is the more convenient option, especially if you’re looking to save time and avoid extra steps.
  • Enterprise at Paris has a better selection of cars, so if you’re after something specific like a BMW or a muscle car, it might be worth the short trip over.
  • If you opt for Enterprise, make sure to factor in the extra time needed to get to the Paris location, which might leave you a bit rushed for your morning plans.

Overall, it depends on your priorities: convenience vs. car selection. Both options will work for your itinerary, but you'll need to decide if the extra time to Enterprise is worth the possibility of a more exciting ride!
