Do I have time for concert?

Hey

I am travelling to Las Vegas with my daughter on 10th August. Our arrival time from the plane will be 1.40pm and we are staying in the Paris hotel. I really want to take her to see the backstreet boys at the sphere on that day but I’m not sure if I would make it (this will be our first time to vegas so i haven’t got a clue). The show starts at 8pm. Can anyone let me know if the think this would be possible or not?

Thank you so much

It sounds like you're excited for your trip to Las Vegas and the Backstreet Boys concert! Based on your arrival time and the show schedule, here's a breakdown of whether it's possible for you to make it to the 8pm show at The Sphere:

Your flight arrives at 1:40 pm, so you'll likely land a bit later due to taxiing and disembarking. Let’s assume you get off the plane and grab your bags around 2:15 pm. From there, you'll need to take a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to your hotel, Paris Las Vegas, which is about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport, depending on traffic. So, you should arrive at the hotel around 2:30 pm.

After checking in, you might need some time to get settled and freshen up, which could take 30 minutes to an hour. If you leave your hotel by 6:30 pm, you should have plenty of time to get to The Sphere (located at The Venetian) for the 8 pm show. The drive from Paris Las Vegas to The Sphere is about 10-15 minutes, so you should aim to get there a bit earlier to avoid any rush and to factor in time for security, finding your seat, etc.

Here’s a rough timeline of your day:

  • 1:40 pm - Arrival at Las Vegas
  • 2:15 pm - Leave the airport and head to Paris Las Vegas
  • 2:30 pm - Arrive at Paris Las Vegas and check-in
  • 3:30 pm - Settle into your room, freshen up, etc.
  • 6:30 pm - Leave the hotel for The Sphere
  • 7:00 pm - Arrive at The Sphere, allowing time for security and seating
  • 8:00 pm - Concert starts

Overall, it looks like you should have more than enough time to get to the concert and enjoy the show. The key is leaving a bit earlier from the hotel to ensure smooth travel and not feeling rushed. Enjoy your trip and the concert!
