Vegas Soft Drink refills
Hello!
I was sold a soft drink today in one of these purple reusable and refillable cups.
Just wondering what places I can go to get it refilled? It appears to be quick service places and the guy selling it did list of a number of places but I can’t remember any names!
Hope that makes sense! Cheers
In Las Vegas, the purple reusable and refillable cups you’re referring to are often sold at many quick-service restaurants and food courts inside major casinos. These cups are typically part of a “refillable drink program” that allows unlimited soft drinks at participating locations for the duration of your stay, sometimes across multiple outlets within the same casino.
Here’s what you should know about using them:
- Refills are generally only available at the casino or resort where the cup was purchased. For example, if you bought the cup at the food court in Planet Hollywood, it’s usually only valid at participating quick-service locations within Planet Hollywood.
- Most quick-service restaurants, food courts, and buffets within the same property honor the cup for refills. Look for stations labeled “refillable drinks” or ask the staff.
- Some hotels like MGM properties (MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Luxor) and Caesars properties have multiple participating outlets, so the cup can be used across different cafes or snack bars in the same hotel.
Tips for getting refills:
- Keep the cup with you—some locations will not refill a cup that is left behind or looks worn.
- Check the small print or ask the cashier which outlets are participating, especially if the cup was purchased in a food court with multiple restaurants.
- Timing can matter—some refills are only valid during certain hours of the day, although most quick-service locations are open throughout the day and evening.
Essentially, your best bet is to return to the quick-service or fast-food locations within the casino or resort where you bought the cup. If you’re wandering around the Strip, each hotel’s refillable cup program is generally separate, so your cup from one property likely won’t be valid at a different hotel’s outlets.
