Our family of 3 adults are visiting WDW. This is our first visit to WDW. We'll be there for ~1.5 week and set our sight on the Pop Century hotel. It fits our budget and is close to park transportation bus and skyliner. We plan to book the room directly on-line on WDW's web site. Are there any savings booking through 3rd party agents? we're getting the tickets from Undercover Tourists. We used them 2 years ago for our trip to DisneyLand.
Thanks,
Booking a Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort hotel, like Pop Century, directly through the official WDW website is generally the safest and often the most flexible option, especially for first-time visitors. Booking directly allows you to take advantage of Disney’s special offers, such as room discounts, package deals, and promotions that may include free dining plans or other perks. Additionally, you have full access to Disney’s My Disney Experience app, which is essential for managing your park reservations, Lightning Lane selections, and other resort-specific benefits.
While third-party travel agents and websites sometimes advertise savings, there are a few considerations:
Pop Century is a popular choice due to its value pricing, convenient access to Disney transportation (including buses and the Skyliner), and fun, themed rooms. Booking directly ensures that your stay is fully integrated into the My Disney Experience system, which simplifies dining reservations, Genie+ selections, and other planning tools.
Tips to maximize savings and convenience when booking your WDW resort stay:
Overall, for first-time visitors, booking directly with Disney often provides the best balance of convenience, flexibility, and access to resort-specific benefits. Third-party agents may occasionally offer slightly lower rates, but these savings usually come with trade-offs in terms of perks and flexibility.
