Disney dining plan

Just doing a bit of research on the qs dining plan options. If anyone has used the dining plan in disney springs at d-luxe burger and chicken guy, what is included in the plan e.g are sides and milkshakes included?

Also what is your favourite qs restaurant in Disney?

Thank you

The Disney Quick Service (QS) Dining Plan allows you to purchase meals at select counter-service restaurants across the parks and Disney Springs. Each QS meal on the plan typically includes an entrée and a non-alcoholic beverage. Some locations may also allow you to substitute a snack or dessert in place of certain items, but specifics can vary by restaurant.

At Disney Springs, both D-Luxe Burger and Chicken Guy! participate in the QS Dining Plan. Generally:

  • At D-Luxe Burger, the QS meal includes one entrée (burger or sandwich) and one non-alcoholic beverage. Fries are considered a side included with the entrée. Specialty items like milkshakes are usually not included on the QS plan and would need to be purchased separately or with a snack credit.
  • At Chicken Guy!, the QS meal includes one entrée (chicken tenders or sandwiches) and one non-alcoholic beverage. Sides such as fries or slaw are included with the entrée. Milkshakes or specialty drinks are also not included on the QS plan.

It's important to note that the QS Dining Plan also gives you snack credits that can be used toward items like milkshakes, desserts, or small packaged snacks, but these are separate from the QS meal credit itself.

Some popular QS restaurants across Disney World include:

  • Be Our Guest (Magic Kingdom) – French-inspired counter-service lunch options
  • Woody’s Lunch Box (Hollywood Studios) – creative sandwiches and tots
  • Flame Tree Barbecue (Animal Kingdom) – barbecue platters with sides
  • Satuli Canteen (Animal Kingdom) – customizable bowls with protein and grains
  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café (Magic Kingdom) – burgers, sandwiches, and sides

Many guests’ favorite QS options often depend on variety, portion size, and ambiance. D-Luxe Burger is highly recommended for its gourmet burgers and crispy fries, while Chicken Guy! is a hit for its variety of dipping sauces and flavorful chicken tenders.

Overall, when using the QS plan, focus on the entrée and beverage being included in the meal credit. Extras like milkshakes, specialty sides, or desserts usually require a separate snack credit or cash purchase.
