Here’s the most up-to-date lineup for Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival (New Orleans), and what to know if you’re planning to go. The 2025 fest runs October 10–12 in Lafayette Square Park.

🎶 2025 Crescent City Blues & BBQ Fest — Line-Up Highlights

  • Devon Allman’s Blues Summit — featuring The Devon Allman Project, Larry McCray, Jimmy Hall & Sierra Green
  • Tab Benoit — swamp-blues powerhouse from Louisiana
  • Bobby Rush — Blues Hall of Famer and festival regular
  • Leo Nocentelli (of The Meters) — legendary guitarist performing Saturday
  • Little Freddie King — veteran blues singer-guitarist on Sunday
  • Carolyn Wonderland — fiery Texas blues/rock vocalist & guitarist
  • Cindy Cashdollar & Brian Mitchell with the Woodstock All-Stars, plus guest Sonny Landreth — slide-guitar masters and festival staples
  • Additional acts: local favorites and up-and-coming blues/R&B artists such as Wolfe Johns, Mem Shannon & the Membership, Eric Johanson, Jontavious Willis, Joy Clark, Mia Borders, plus several more — a broad mix of blues, soul, and rock.

Festival Format & Extras

  • Two stages (St. Charles Ave. Stage & Camp Street / Lafayette Square stages) with music running all day Saturday and Sunday from late morning to evening. Friday evening also features performances.
  • BBQ / food vendors, a large arts and crafts market, and a street-festival vibe with a mix of locals and visitors.
  • The festival is free and open to the public. VIP packages are available if you want guaranteed seating, more comfort, and better amenities.

What to Know — for First-Timers

  • It’s a downtown festival (Lafayette Square is near the center of the city), so expect crowds — but also a lively, welcoming New Orleans vibe. The mix of blues legends and rising talent means you’ll likely catch both high-energy performances and more classic, soulful shows.
  • Food & vendors: great opportunity to enjoy Southern BBQ, local eats, and shop handmade arts and crafts, so come hungry and open-minded.
  • Since the festival is free, arriving early or early in the weekend helps ensure you get a good spot. VIP tickets are optional but worthwhile if you want some comfort and front-of-stage access.
  • Line-ups always subject to change — check the official festival site or local listings closer to the dates for any updates.
