My wife and I are coming to Chicago for 4 nights in early November. We would like to stay in River North, and I have narrowed hotels to the Royal Sonesta and the Residence Inn. Reviews are similarly favorable for both, and rates are also very close. Is there a substantive difference between the two? Is one more luxurious? Too far from Mich Ave?
