Cheap Clothing in atlanta

Hi all,

I'm doing a solo trip to the US and its going to involve a couple of different destinations several flights and connections, so lugging about a suitcase is going to be a nightmare.

I'm probably going to travel without a suitcase and just buy clothes when I'm in the US. I figure I'll find a laundromat on my final day and just hand stuff i don't need for when I travel onward into a thrift store once its cleaned. My question is:

Where's the best place to get cheap clothes in Atlanta for a few days?

When i say cheap i mean cheap, t shirts a pair of jeans or 2 and maybe a sweater. I'm not going to be precious about brands or anything, and I'm not going anywhere with a discernable dress code.

TIA

It sounds like you’re planning a flexible and budget-friendly trip, and it’s great that you’re looking to buy clothes while you're in the US rather than lugging around a suitcase. In Atlanta, there are a number of places where you can find cheap clothing, from fast fashion stores to thrift shops. Here are some of the best options for affordable clothes in Atlanta:

1. Thrift Stores and Discount Shops: Atlanta has some excellent thrift stores and second-hand shops where you can score clothes for a very low price. These stores often carry a wide range of items, including t-shirts, jeans, sweaters, and more, at a fraction of the price you'd pay for new items.

  • Goodwill and Salvation Army: Both of these organizations have several locations in Atlanta where you can find gently used clothing at extremely low prices. Goodwill, in particular, often has sales and discounts on certain days, making it even more affordable.
  • Buffalo Exchange: This trendy resale shop offers gently used clothing, including casual wear, jeans, t-shirts, and more. Buffalo Exchange is known for its curated collection, so you may find some interesting pieces at a reasonable price.

2. Fast Fashion Stores: If you want to buy brand-new clothes at a very low price, fast fashion stores are a great option. These stores typically carry the latest styles but at affordable prices. Here are a few to consider:
