Departing at 07:15, we had a lot of fun on board with interactive activities and itinerary introductions!

11:00

We arrived at Sunao Village, the starting point for the hike. Our leader led a warm-up to stretch our muscles. After about ten minutes of hiking, we came upon a towering ancient maple tree, its trunk so large that four or five people could hug it. As we continued along, we watched the clouds drift by, their ever-changing forms. In the distance, the Five Hundred Hills stretched out, their forests reviving. Nearby, lush green pines, mountain flowers, and numerous unusually shaped rocks came into view, creating a breathtakingly beautiful canvas.

We arrived at the mountain around 12:30 and had lunch along the way.

After lunch at 1:00 PM, we set off again. A 10-minute hike brought us to the highlight of the day, Dajianshan Grassland, where a reed-filled landscape was about to unfold! Circular tea fields surrounded the central reservoir, while Dajianshan Mountain rose aloft beside the reservoir. The treeless peak was covered in meadows. From a vantage point, we could see rolling peaks and tea fields. The two reservoirs nestled between the valleys resembled twin pearls, and scattered villages formed the backdrop. The scenery, a gift of nature, was breathtaking.

4:00 PM

After successfully completing the entire hiking circuit and returning to the starting point, everyone took a bus back to Shanghai. Around 19:30, we returned to the starting point in Shanghai and everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.

Driving time: Shanghai to Shaoxing, about 4 hours

Hiking: The whole journey is about 12km, with a total ascent of about 600m+, mainly on bluestone and dirt roads

Note: Today's hike is 11.7 km long, mainly on bluestone and dirt roads.

2. What if it rains during the event?

2-3 days before the event, we will decide whether the event will proceed as scheduled based on the weather forecast and route conditions. Please pay attention to our notifications. Most outdoor activities can proceed as usual even with light rain. Rainy days also have their own fun. If heavy rain is forecast, the event will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to everyone.

3. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and there are also large models with 53 seats. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

4. The event shows that the quota is temporarily full. What does "substitute" mean?

Sunjialing Historic Trail: Lush greenery and winding ancient vines create a quaint ecological landscape. Ascending the steps, you'll find clusters of ancient maple trees. In autumn, fallen leaves blanket the stone steps, creating a soothing carpet for your feet. Walking through an ink-and-wash landscape, you'll feel a sense of leisure and tranquility.

[Five Hundred Hills] There are so many legends about the Five Hundred Hills that even gods got their count wrong. Once upon a time, a god stood on the Five Hundred Hills and counted 499 hills. Later, he realized that he hadn't counted the hills right below him, and thus, the Five Hundred Hills really hadn't missed a single one.

[Running on Dajian Mountain] Dajian Mountain, also known as Dajian Mountain, is located in the core area of Wubaigang and is the dividing line between Shaoxing Keqiao District and Shengzhou City. There are no trees on the mountain, only grass. It is green in spring and yellow in autumn. In November, the meadows are deep. Running on Dajian Mountain, it has the flavor of a small Wugong Mountain.
