Abashiri Icebreaker without Drift Ice

Last time I shared that I was looking forward to taking an #icebreaker
but the flight was delayed due to strong winds…
The next day I was going to leave Abashiri
I didn’t give up and went to the official website to check
There was a boat in the morning but no floating ice
It was just a 30-minute sightseeing flight⛴️
At first I was struggling whether to go
But my elders also wanted to take a boat so we set off

I was still very excited to go out
You can sit in the cabin and watch the scenery through the glass
You can also go to the deck
Of course, the deck is also full of people
Everyone doesn’t seem to be affected by the number of drifting ice
The only thing is to take a quick photo while everyone gets off the boat

After taking the icebreaker, we went to a nearby restaurant for lunch
You can choose grilled seafood and sashimi donburi
But the preparation time of the meal is a bit long
The seafood is not particularly outstanding

I hope I will have the opportunity to see the magnificent floating ice next time
