I visited Cape Notoro in Septe

I visited Cape Notoro in September and had a great experience. The weather was cooling and a bit windy, but overall very good and comfortable.

The view of the Sea of Okhotsk with the Notoro Lighthouse is stunning, and on clear days you can see the Shiretoko mountain range.

Although the summer flowers were gone, the cape still had a calm charm with early autumn in the air. What makes it even better is that it’s only a short drive from Abashiri town, so it’s very easy to visit without much hassle.
