[Hokkaido] The land gateway to Okhotsk

*Abashiri Station

Two lines, the Sekihoku Main Line and the Senmo Main Line, run through this station, and it is the starting and ending station for the express trains "Okhotsk" and "Daisetsu" and the rapid train "Shiretoko Mashugo"😊

The current Abashiri Station is the second generation, and the first station was originally located about 800m east, so the area in front of the station seems lonely✨

The station sign is written vertically because the people who were released from Abashiri Prison wanted them to go straight ahead☺️
