A Perfect Day in Abu Dhabi

If you find yourself with a layover in Abu Dhabi or you just want to spend the say in the other emirate, you are in for a treat! This vibrant city is packed with stunning architecture, rich culture and beautiful landscapes, making it easy to enjoy a fulfilling day! #culturalattractions

As our flight landed for lunch time, we tried a Spanish restaurant names Diablito next to the F1 circuit. The food was very very tasty and good quality, I recommend you to try the famous croquetas and nachos with guacamole!! #deliciousfood #spanishcuisine After lunch as the restaurant was located in Yas Island we enjoy a very nice walk around the marina which offers some views of the F1 circuit. Then, we just went to explore the Louvre which is very near by! The museum was opened in 2017 and it’s famous not only for the art but for the modern masterpiece! We spend 2 hours here, and we also went to the cafe inside with scenic views of the waterfront. It’s a perfect spot to relax and reflect on the art you have seen! #artgallery #relaxtime.

Our last stop was probably the famous Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque! We were recommended to go for sunset, since the light is very unique! The Mosque is one of the world’s largest and a true architectural marvel! #mosquevisit. It was a bit crowded but you immerse yourself in a peaceful atmosphere. The mosque’s stunning white marble and intricate design are a photographer’s dream! Tip: Remember to dress modestly. Long sleeves and trousers are a must, otherwise you will not be able to enter. Also, there are some shops before entering so you are able to buy anything you need!

If you have a full day in Abu Dhabi I highly recommend to visit all places mentioned in the post! However, if you do not have that much time, the must-visit place is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (go in the afternoon if you can, since it can be a bit hot and humid).

Recommendations:
- Transportation: Public transport is not that good, so try to use taxis as are quite affordable and convenience.
- Cultural Etiquette: Respect local customs, especially when visiting religious sites.
- Stay hydrated: The heat can be intense, so drink plenty of water!
