Louvre Abu Dhabi: A Dream Journey into the Palace of Arabian Art

Located on Saadiyat Island, the Louvre Abu Dhabi opened in 2017 as the first overseas branch of the French Louvre Museum. Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, it resembles a floating silver dome, symbolizing the fusion of cultures.

When I walked in, the play of light and shadow beneath the dome was like a desert oasis, instantly immersing me in global art history. In 2025, the museum continues to focus on sustainable exhibitions, blending Eastern and Western artifacts to become a cultural beacon for the Middle East.

🗾 Must-See Attractions
The museum is packed with highlights! The main gallery beneath the dome amazed me, offering a dialogue across time and space, from ancient Egyptian mummies to Leonardo da Vinci's paintings. The interactive exhibits in the children's area are fun and educational, perfect for the whole family.

The outdoor waterscape courtyard offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the golden sunset. Don't miss the current special exhibitions, such as the 2025 AI Art Fusion, which allowed me to feel the pulse of future art. The professional photography is excellent!

🏷️Price per person
In 2025, adult admission will be approximately 65 AED (approximately HK$130), with admission free for those under 18 and free for UAE residents over 60.
I purchased a combined ticket with a guided tour for approximately 100 AED, which was a fantastic value! During peak hours, add 20 AED.

🚌Transportation
From downtown Abu Dhabi, I took a 20-minute taxi (approximately 50 AED), which was comfortable and fast.
Buses like the E100 route go directly there for just 3 AED, making it an eco-friendly option.
From the airport, transfer to the subway, and then to the bus for about an hour.

✴️Personal Review
At the Louvre Abu Dhabi, I felt like an explorer, navigating through millennia of art. The magic of light and shadow in the dome made my heart race, and seeing Leonardo da Vinci's paintings up close was truly breathtaking! The engaging interactive exhibitions kept me amused and thoughtful, and the professional design is perfect for serious enthusiasts. This place is more than just a museum, it's a source of inspiration. I couldn't resist sharing photos after my visit, and my friends raved! I highly recommend it—a must-see for any Middle Eastern traveler! (Approximately 260 words)
