This science museum is located in Akashi, the city that passes through the 135th meridian east, a 15-minute walk from JR Akashi Station or a 3-minute walk from Sanyo Electric Railway's Hitomaru-mae Station.
Admission is 700 yen for adults, free for high school students and younger, and includes the planetarium admission fee, making it a very reasonable price!
You can learn about a variety of things at this science museum, including the stars, time, and time differences. From the observation deck, you can see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Awaji Island, which is a great view and very pleasant.
On your way back, we recommend strolling through Akashi Castle Park or eating the local specialty Akashiyaki at Uonotana!
