Minabane! Taguchi Art Collection of Contemporary Art

"Minabane" means "You must see it!" in the Akita dialect. This unmissable contemporary art festival is being held simultaneously at two venues: the Akita Prefectural Museum of Art and the Akita City Chiaki Museum of Art. Featuring over 100 pieces of art from world-renowned artists to local creators, this event captures the essence of "now." It's more than just an exhibition—it's a "cultural treasure hunt spot."

*Open every day during the event period. During the Kanto Festival (August 3–6), the opening time will be moved up to 9:00 AM.
