Located in Amman's Roman Theater, the museum offers a fascinating glimpse into traditional Jordanian life and showcases a collection of artifacts and exhibits depicting the cultural heritage of Jordan's diverse communities.
There are three main sections:
Desert Heritage (Bedu): This section showcases the traditional way of life of Jordan's Bedouin communities, with displays of tents, clothing, tools, and weaponry used by nomadic herders.
Rural Life (Reef): This section highlights the customs and practices of Jordan's rural villages, featuring agricultural tools, household items, and examples of traditional clothing worn by villagers.
City Culture (Madineh): This section delves into the urban lifestyle of Jordanian cities, displaying everyday objects like furniture, musical instruments, and coffee-making equipment.
