Rijksmuseum

Arriving at the Rijksmuseum early this morning, a crowd had already gathered before the doors even opened. Although I only waited in line for eight minutes, my anticipation grew. Thankfully, I had the Amsterdam City Card, which streamlined my entire trip. Transportation, tickets, and itinerary were perfectly integrated, allowing me to truly maximize my experience.

The moment I stepped inside, it was like stepping into a corridor of time. Rembrandt's "Night Watch" was majestic, Vermeer's light and shadow were serene and delicate; each work whispered a story of the glory and daily life of the Dutch Golden Age. Walking through the soaring halls, I unconsciously slowed my pace, just to linger a moment longer.

Beyond paintings, porcelain, sculptures, and artifacts also exude endless charm. Those details are not just works of art, but the soul of a nation. Looking back, the eight minutes of waiting were a precious opportunity to engage in a conversation with centuries of art.

🌿 "A city card connects the soul of a city; an eight-minute wait brings timeless art."
