Hey friends, today I'm going to introduce you to a stunning hidden gem in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area during autumn - the Anji Chinese Larch Forest Park in Huzhou! This is the largest Chinese Larch forest park in China. When autumn arrives, the entire mountain turns golden and dazzling, just like stepping into a fairy tale world. It's a must-visit spot for autumn outings!
🕘Opening Hours:
The park opens at 8:30 AM every day and closes at 5:00 PM. It's recommended to spend 3-4 hours here, but if you want to capture the most beautiful Chinese Larch, make sure to go early!
💴Ticket Prices:
The ticket price is 58 RMB per person. If you choose to add a drink, it's 68 RMB per person. The drink can be redeemed at the café halfway up the mountain. The price is quite reasonable, and there hasn't been any news of a price increase recently!
⛺Activities:
The most recommended activity here is outdoor hiking! The entire park covers an area of 5,500 acres, with numerous Chinese Larch trees. The hiking route is about 4 km long, and the autumn atmosphere along the way is simply breathtaking. Moreover, this place is pet-friendly and baby-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends and little ones to enjoy the charm of nature. Remember to wear non-slip shoes, as some sections of the mountain paths can be quite slippery!
🚌Transportation Tips:
It's recommended to drive there. It's very convenient to park directly at the ticket office. Don't park at the village entrance, or you'll have to walk a steep road to get in. Note that you need to drive a long winding mountain road to reach the park, and the road is quite narrow, so new drivers should be extra careful!
👉Itinerary:
After visiting the Chinese Larch Forest Park, you can also try some local delicacies at nearby farmhouses. If you have enough time, you can stay overnight in Anji to experience the local homestay culture and head home the next day, so you won't be too tired!
🧡Preparation:
Besides bringing necessary ID and ticket money, it's recommended to prepare some snacks and water, as there are no snack shops in the park. Additionally, there are two public restrooms: one at the village entrance parking lot and one at the park ticket office parking lot. You can choose according to your needs. Also, it gets dark early in the mountains, so it's best to arrive at the park by 1 PM to fully appreciate the beautiful and brilliant Chinese Larch in the sunlight!
