Shanan, an art gallery hotel hidden in the mountains of Anji

Located on a mountainside 500 meters above sea level in Shenxi Village, Baofu Town, Anji, in the Q Longwangmiao Natural Village, this hotel sits on a branch of the Huangpu River's source, surrounded by a 360° panorama of bamboo forests and green mountains. Crafted by the Pany Design team, the hotel embodies the spirit of "Wabi-Sabi aesthetics." The rammed earth-colored exterior walls complement the emerald bamboo, while rough bricks, natural wood, and art collection furniture create a collision of oriental Zen. Three independent buildings, "Xu," "Yi," and "Chi," are scattered across the mountainside, with 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the light and shadow of the bamboo sea indoors. Wake up to a fairyland shrouded in mist, and in the evening, watch the sunset glow paint the bamboo tips. Every frame is a cinematic masterpiece, reminiscent of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."

The public areas are fully equipped for both activity and tranquility. The infinity pool, a mirrored surface suspended among the bamboo sea, is perfect for swimming in summer and enjoying snow views in winter. Gather around the bonfire and open-air cinema as night falls, look up at the bright moon and stars, and listen to the crackling fire carried by the mountain breeze – pure bliss.
