Ying Lake in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and one of the top ten scenic spots in Shaanxi. Formed by the damming of the Ankang Hydropower Station, it serves as a water conservation area for the Middle Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, shouldering the historical mission of "delivering clean water from one river to Beijing and Tianjin." It is listed among the first 15 key national projects for lake ecological environment protection.
