Must-visit tomb of the founding father of Türkiye in Ankara (Kemal Mausoleum)

When you come to Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, the most representative attraction is none other than Kemal's Mausoleum (Anıtkabir). This is the final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk**, the father of the Turkish nation, and is one of the most sacred places in the hearts of the Turkish people.

Magnificent memorial building

Kemal's Mausoleum is located on a high ground. The entire building complex adopts a symmetrical classical style, full of a solemn atmosphere. Upon entering the mausoleum area, you will first pass the Lion Road (Aslanlı Yol), which is lined with 12 pairs of lion statues, symbolizing strength and unity.
The main building of the mausoleum is tall and magnificent, combining traditional Turkish architectural style with modern simple lines. Kemal's famous quotes are engraved in golden fonts, showing his wisdom and foresight.

At a fixed time every day, a solemn guard changing ceremony is held in front of the mausoleum. The soldiers march in step and in unison, demonstrating the discipline and respect of the Turkish army, which is awe-inspiring.
