On October 2, we visited Anyang Museum, the second stop of our trip. We visited Yin Ruins Museum yesterday and planned to visit Anyang Museum today. We arrived at around 9:00 in the morning. There are free parking lots on both sides, which is very convenient. When we entered Anyang Museum, we saw many students doing homework, reading books, and studying at the small tables on the second floor. The atmosphere was great. The logo of Anyang Museum is at the front. It includes oracle bone inscriptions, the Eight Diagrams, chariots, bronzeware, bamboo slips, and even modern books. Various elements from ancient times to the present are combined together, which are not messy at all and run through ancient and modern times.
There were not many visitors, so the experience was good. No reservation is required.
We followed the volunteer guide from the first exhibition hall and listened to the guide's explanation along the historical river from the Yin and Shang Dynasties. From bronzeware to oracle bone inscriptions, from pottery to bronze mirrors, from pottery figurines to porcelain, the exhibits are diverse, showing the history of Anyang.
I took a few photos of pottery figurines and Zhen tomb beasts. They are cute and have different shapes. The owner must have an interesting soul.
