We ventured all the way to Yinxu, where the Royal Tombsoften compared to Egypt’s pyramids—reveal the dawn of China’s imperial burial traditions. As the earliest and most complete royal cemetery unearthed in China, this site has captivated archaeologists since 1933 with its 13 grand tombs, 2,000 sacrificial pits, and stunning relics like the legendary Simuwu Ding.

⭐️Highlights:
- M260 Tomb Exhibition:Stand where the Simuwu Ding was discovered, peering into the tomb’s passage, chamber, and 22 skulls of sacrificial victims.
- Sacrificial Pits:Rows of skeletal remains—mostly prisoners or slaves—speak silently of the Shang Dynasty’s brutal rituals.
- Unfinished Tomb:Believed to belong to King Zhou,its lone chamber (missing a passage) hints at a dynasty cut short.
