[🇯🇵Aomori] Experience the charm of Nebuta at "Nebuta House Wa Rasse" and enjoy the taste of Niboshi Ramen

"Wa Rasse" is a facility where you can enjoy Nebuta culture with all five senses

"Nebuta House Wa Rasse", located just a short walk from Aomori Station, is a spot where you can experience the charm of the Nebuta Festival, which represents Aomori's summer, all year round. A huge Nebuta float that was actually used is on display, and I was overwhelmed by its impressive beauty and delicate colors. Inside the museum, you can learn about the history and production process of Nebuta, and enjoy the experience corner for taiko drums and music.

Exquisite Niboshi Ramen at the restaurant inside the museum

There is also a restaurant inside Wa Rasse, and the Niboshi Ramen I had there was impressive. Aomori is known for its culture of dried sardine broth. The soup, which has a deep flavor and a moderate bitterness, is exquisitely intertwined with the thin straight noodles. Although the toppings are simple, the flavor is well infused into the char siu and bamboo shoots, making it the perfect bowl for the cold Aomori winter.

One of its attractions is its easy accessibility. It is conveniently located right next to Aomori Station, so it is convenient to drop by between sightseeing. Even if it is not the Nebuta Festival season, it is truly a rare opportunity to feel the excitement and splendor here. If you come to Aomori, this is a place you should definitely visit.
