I spent a relaxing afternoon at Gappo Park in Aomori City, one of the area’s oldest and most beloved public parks. Nestled along the coastline, the park features a lovely pine grove, spacious walking paths, and stunning ocean views. It’s especially popular during cherry blossom season, but even in summer, the sea breeze and open lawns make it a perfect spot for a quiet break. I brought snacks, sat by the seawall, and simply enjoyed the sound of the waves.

Travel Tip: Visit on a weekday morning to avoid crowds and enjoy the peaceful seaside ambiance.
