Take a local train from Kumamoto to Aso Station.

When we visit Fukuoka and buy a JR pass, we can travel to Mount Aso. We can take the Shinkansen to Kumamoto Station and then transfer to the train to Aso Station. But when we arrived, we took two trains from Kumamoto to Ozu Station and then from Ozu to Aso Station. If you have a JR pass, you don't have to pay any additional fees. The local trains here are quite similar to our diesel railcars, except that all cars are air-conditioned. The cars are colorful and the inside is clean. It is a single track that has to wait to pass, just like in Thailand. #TravelFukuoka #TravelJapan #RideJapaneseTrains #tripFreeAccommodationGiveaway
