Aso Shrine

#newyearnewtrip

The all famous Aso Shrine may not be the biggest or the grandest shrine in Japan but it is stands beautifully in all its grandeur. The whole shrine is rich in history and it still looks majestic and well preserved.

It is believed that the aso shrine is as old as two thousand years old, making it one the oldest shinto shrine in Japan. Admire it's architectural details and designs and how amazing such a shrine can be built in the past, with little tools and technology. I love how serene and peaceful this whole place is. It is not over crowded like how shrines are in Japan. There is even a koi pond outside the aso shrine, where you can admire the kois and feed them. Beautiful!
