How to Get to the Active Volcano

There are two ways to get to the active volcano of Mount Aso.

By Bus - You can take a bus from Kumamoto city to Aso station, and then transfer to the 'Aso Volcano Tour' area, which is the active volcano of Mount Aso. The bus is convenient and runs on a fixed schedule.

By Car - You can also drive your own car or rent a car to get to Mount Aso. The roads are well-connected, making it easy to reach the volcano. You can drive up to the vicinity of the volcano observatory, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way.
