Experience the mysteries of the Earth at Mount Aso

First, take a bus from Aso Station on the JR Toyohashi Line to Aso Sanjo Terminal. A one-day bus pass is sold for 2,000 yen at the bus office connected to Aso Station. As you go up the mountain, the trees disappear and you are left with only grass. Horses are grazing here and there. It's quite a beautiful sight. While we're there, we arrive at Aso Sanjo Terminal. However, we learn a shocking truth here. Due to restrictions on volcanic gas, we can't go to see the crater. We have no choice but to go back to Kusasenri and wait, when we hear that the restrictions have been lifted! We rush back and somehow manage to get in.
