You can take a bus up to the crater. There are alerts everywhere near the crater to tell you what you should do in case the volcano erupts
Up there, you can clearly feel the faint smell of volcanic ash
There are green grass everywhere, it is believed that the volcanic ash makes the land more nutritious and the grass grows better
There is a restaurant on the side of the volcano where you can eat horse meat sashimi rice we tried and found it quite special with a little taste like eating beef, but it was not the same
Further up you can see the crater is constantly smoking and will not come out
