Reserving a Spot: It’s recommended to arrive 2 hours early! Don’t believe “you can watch from anywhere casually”! Popular events are full by 4 PM, and the bigger your picnic mat, the easier it is to reserve a spot (Japanese usually use 1-meter mats). Secret tip: many Japanese people reserve spots early in the morning.
👘 Outfit: Yukata for 300 yen! But wooden clogs will kill your feet after a day... Smart me brought foldable slippers and switched shoes instantly for photos!
🚽 Restrooms: Temporary toilets have lines of 1 hour or more! Drinking less water is key...
📸 Photography: Phone photos of fireworks = blurry mess! Learn “long exposure” settings in advance or shoot videos.

✅ Go even if it rains: Unless it’s a typhoon or heavy storm, light rain doesn’t affect it! Actually, fewer people means a better experience~
