Spring Hike at Himenosawa Park

I visited Himenosawa Park in April, and it was the perfect spot for an early morning hike. The air was so fresh, filled with the incredible scent of flowers and forest — seriously, it smelled amazing. The azaleas (tsutsuji) were in full bloom, adding a splash of color everywhere. And when you reach the top, the view is absolutely breathtaking!

It’s one of those places that feels like a secret getaway, even though it’s not far from central Atami. Highly recommend if you’re craving nature and a bit of quiet adventure.
