The Fairy's Abode: Zelve Ruins Were Too Adorable

📍Zelve

Visited Zelve in the northern part of Cappadocia.

Zelve is an area that has been turned into a museum, allowing visitors to explore. It was once a hideout for Christians, and people lived in cave dwellings there for a long time.

Inside the caves, crosses are carved, showing that despite being inside caves, people practiced their faith diligently. It was fascinating to see 🧚. There was also a spot where they used a 500kg stone to grind wheat, which made me realize how valuable wheat was to the residents of that era.

Looking out from a viewpoint where you can see the entirety of the Zelve ruins, each rock appears very small, and with windows carved into them, they resemble tiny houses lined up together, giving off a charming vibe 💖.

It felt like fairies could live there... or so I thought 🧚✨. This is a view that might be hard to convey without seeing it for yourself, so if you ever visit Cappadocia, make sure to check it out 🧚.
