The Gotonagakakiuchi Ruins are pronounced "Gossakaitoiseki." The ruins were discovered under farmland and were the remains of a late Yayoi period ironware village. They were restored and designated as a national historic site. The restored ironware workshop, "Gossa Ironware Workshop," was cool even in midsummer. This is a hidden gem of Awaji Island where you can enjoy not only the sea but also the mountains. Please visit the Gotonagakakiuchi Ruins, where you will feel like you have traveled back in time. There is a sign warning of electric shock, so please be careful of the power lines. ✱-----------------------------------------------
