Roadside Station Awaji looking at Akashi Bridge

Awaji Island is located between the main island of Japan and Shikoku. Awaji City has the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to and from Kobe.

Depart from Kobe and enter Awaji Island through the Akashi Strait.

First we came to Awaji-michi Station, which is located right below the end of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. From here you can see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, and the scenery is beautiful. The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is known as the world's longest suspension bridge, with a total length of 3,911 meters.

In addition to the scenery, Awajimichi Station of course has restaurants, souvenir shops, and a Ferris wheel.
