Hiking and waterfall hunting

On the Bolaven Plateau in Pakse you can also
hike going to the Tad Pha Suam falls, drop over a horseshoe-shaped cliff into a wide pool six meters below. Visitors travel 33 kilometers from Pakse to the falls, passing through lush woodlands and through an old bamboo bridge. The Houai Campi River, which starts in the Salvanh province and runs continuously throughout the year, even during the dry season, feeds the falls.
