Into the Wild: Meeting Insects, Leaves, and Mushrooms

📍Sandaogou Town, Baishan City, Jilin Province

After passing through the Sandaogou Tunnel in picture 2, it's just a short drive to Erdaogou Village near Longshan Scenic Area. Go through the village to reach the mountain base, then follow the winding uphill road. Park near the summit and hike a few hundred meters to reach the peak.

Along the trail, you'll encounter various insects, trees, wildflowers, and tiny mushrooms—slow your pace to fully appreciate nature's gifts.

At the summit stands a relic of an anti-Japanese war bunker, offering panoramic views of Longshan Lake Scenic Area (best seen when foliage is sparse).

When you return to the base and gaze up at the peak you just conquered, you'll truly understand the ancient verse: "Somewhere in these mountains deep, where clouds veil what they keep."
